doors rattle and jiggle....lol

95 reg cab.....both doors rattle like there not closed all the way whenever i hit a big bump.....i dont know if the latches are bad or if i can just adjust the strikers? has anyone else had this prob?

open the door grab mid ways at back of door and pull up and down, if theres movement the hinges are worn, or the striker could be warn out

door hinges are good.....any other ideas?

strikers could be bad, also check the weather stripping and the rubber door bumpers if it has them.

Take a peice of water hose cut it about an inch long and cut down the side and slip over the door striker. Should stop the rattles.

Mine has always made this noise to, i've just turned the radio up, i'm going to try this later and see what happens.

my doors rattle and don't close all the way, they latch and won't come open but i can see its still crakced open, i killed the latch with wd40 and nothing changed, is that latch what you guys are calling the striker?

my fords have always had a rattle. My exploder did, my wifes exploder, my ranger and now my wifes 08 focus has a rattle. I just turn up the volume on the music, open a window and no more rattle :)
