Towstraps?

So what size and rating do you guys use? The girlfriend wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas and I thought that this would be something useful since I broke an end off of my old one.

I am considering the 6 inch thick 70,000 pound rated one from the local Tractor Supply just for the badassness factor. I wheel with mostly jeeps, rangers, and toyotas, and occasionally a couple full size Chevy's and a full size Toyota.

i use the straps from my flatdeck. the ones for tying down a load. they are kinedyne straps about 20 ft long. they are pretty cheap to buy and real strong, i havent broke one yet and i've used them to pull out my 84 bronco xlt when i swamped down the door handles. (lots of fun) it took 3 trucks to get me out and it held with all 3 pulling.

I have the same one...it's pretty much all you'll need for our smaller trucks. I've buried myself a few times and had to pull my strap through the little front tow hooks, it was a pain in the **** with a 3" strap so if you go bigger than that be sure to get shackles with it.

i have a 2" and a 3", i use the 2" mostly because it is lighter and easier to mess with, but i always carry my 3" also. If you are going to only have 1 get a 3".

That 7" would just be a PITA to roll up and store, a buddy of mine has one and i hate it..
