Traded in the Ranger - Hello F-150

Well, I traded in the Ranger on Saturday for an 05 F-150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.4 Triton engine. I loved the ranger but it was just too small for what I needed. So far I am loving the F-150....can't wait to see the spanking at the gas pump though :( Here is a pic

I doubt you will see a big difference in gas prices. Congrats!

Congrats on the new ride
Gas prices wont vary much-When my F150 was stock I got about 16 MPG, only 1 less than what I got with my ranger-now that its modded with K&N intake, magnaflow exhaust and Xcalibrator 3 with custom troyer tunes im getting about 15MPG. So not much differance in gas, but dont crap yourself the first time you fill it up all the way and have a $70 tag to go with it-bigger tank but goes further
Enjoy the new ride

Thanks everyone. So far it does seem to be about the same on gas as the Ranger, although you are right about the giant tank! 27 gallons I think compared to 19.5. I will miss my Ranger but I am loving the room and power of this truck!
