I have recently found a 302 V8 at a pick-n-pull. I plan to pull it and rebuild it, then put it in my ranger. However, I dont know what transmission to put with it. I want a 6 speed manual though. My friend recomended the T54. Thoughts? If so, what make and model can I find them in so I can pull it?

not yet, I haven't pulled it out of the Bronco yet. I'm doing that saturday.

 

if you want a 6 speed, you are probbably gonna need to put an adapter. it might not be the same bellhousing. if you want to keep it a manual trans, you best bet is a T5 i belive. they already came attached to 302s. if you really want stoutness, get a c6.
