Questions about tires and lift.

Questions about tires and lift.
Ok I know I have said this in the past but this time its real. I am going to get a spindle lift and I'm planning on getting a set of new wheels and tires.
Lift:
Right now I'm thinking about getting this kit from fabtech. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Cheaper options for 3 more inches of lift?
Tires/wheels:
What I want to do here is get a separate set for off road and use my current set as tires for longer trips. Currently I'm on the fence between some M/T Classic II Black and Cragar soft 8 blacks. I want no smaller then 15x8s. As far as tires, I'm looking at Dunlop MudRovers. Not quite sure on sizes but they seem to be pretty cheap. I would like KM2s but they are just too damn expensive.
So my questions are:
1)Any better options of the lift kit?
2) I can't do both the lift and tires/wheels at the same time so which should I do first? If i do tires first will they rub with my current setup? I have a 3" BL but it only sits as high as a 4x4 right now...
3) Any the M/Ts worth the extra $50 a piece? They look good but idk about $50 a piece better.
4)I want meaty tires but need them to be pretty cheap. $200 a tire just is NOT an option so any other suggestions? They gotta look meaty.
5) The fabtech kit comes with everything I need right? Do I need to buy an extended driveshaft?
Thanks!

i would get 16x9s. i got 15x8s and i always wished i would've gotten 16s. i got a similar rim to the one you're getting. it'll look good. i'd also advice checking out discounttire.com free shipping, no taxes and free mounting/balancing if you buy both from them. i paid like $800 for my bfg ruggeds and unique 297 15"s

Doetsch spindles are much less. get a 2" shackle, and rear shocks and you wont need front.
as for tires, thats the way of the world. my 33's were 250 a tire. if you wanna go big, you need to have deep pockets.

Something nobody seems to think about when it comes to spindles is the track width change from JUST the spindles. It's crazy wide and crazy tire sticking out when 15x10's are used with spindles. They stick out about 5" past the flares.
Keep with 15x8...or 8" rims if you go bigger than 15".
There is no other option than a 3" list save for a long-travel kit. And that certainly isn't cheaper than spindles.
If $200 a tire isn't an option, then there pretty much aren't any quality tire options for you. Especially for how big you're planning on going. Most guys go 35's double lifted. You'll want 33's minimum to make it look right. And for the record, Mud Rovers are cheap...loud...ugly. You'll hate the full-size world with the notion of not spending $200 a tire....
IMO, if you can't afford 35's....don't double lift it. It'll look retarded. Quality 35's aren't much more money than 33's. But you'll also wanna consider gear changing to 4.88 to run the 35's more easily.

Here's a more accurate representation of a Fabtech 3"/3.5"(can't remember which) on a 2wd Edge with 33x12.50R15's on 15x10's. Just the spindle. With a spindle and BL like the OP has, he'll clear 35's easily.
My personal friend, member dadangerranger...
The pics don't show his later installed Belltech 6400 shackles. She needed them to clear the picky fitting 15x10's. Rear lift as pictured is the Fabtech supplied AAL. Cali-Lean with the kit.

*****. All I knew of was his lacking sig and the small pics. It doesn't look as though he's got an Edge. Coil-springs like your old truck he may have. My bad.

I'm not an edge unfortunately. Just an xlt.
You say "double lifted" but currently with my 3" BL I literally sit the same height as a 4x4 if not lower. I can afford the $200 a tire it's more of a matter of I'm a cheap ***. Been reading reviews and it looks like I'll most likely get the KM2s. If I get the M/T Classic IIs how much will I be sticking out? I want to stick out a bit but nothing crazy.

You'll still be double lifted.... because it'll have a body lift and a suspension lift. Given you've got coils and already sit way low compared to an Edge, 33's will be a nice fit for yours with the spindles.
As long as you don't got with 10" wide wheels, it won't be sticking out like crazy.
If I recall, Admin Adam had the 5.5" kit and 3" BL on his coil-spring 2wd...running 33's? Yuke or whatever his name was had 35's?
