Thanks everyone.Its really weird driving without a radio. Everytime I get in I reach forward to turn it up then get dissapointed real fast lol.

Anyways if insurance pays up I have some good plans with a local shop, including a alarm system haha.

I INSTALLED A VIPER SYSTEM IN THE TRUCK AND A BRAKE GLASS SENSOR WITH EXTRA LOUD HORNS THIS THING SCREAMS LOUD

 

I got my truck broken into this past Sunday night. I park it in a parking garage next to a camera too! The RIPPED the lock off and pushed the rod down to get in. Then they RIPPED out the bezel with my Pioneer HU. I found the Head Unit the next morning on craigslist and if it is not the same one there is a huge coincidence there.

 

call the guy up, go take a look at it and call the police on the way there, tell them you can identify it (works a lot better if you scratch your DL or name or something into it, or have the serial number recorded on a BOS

someone want to pm me details on how to break in, and how to not get broken into? i saw the youtube vid, but i couldn't figure out what they are doing with the antenna in the hole...

Yeah I was thinking about calling the guy up, have him deliver the HU to me, I would be able to get his name and a plate number then take the HU to the police station and let them know, do you think that would work?

To the original poster. I am sorry to hear you got your truck broken into too. It was the worst feeling seeing what happen to my truck and couldn't even imagine how you must have felt/still feel. Glad to hear your working it out with the adjuster. O and, you should check CL too to see if any of your items are on there if you have not already.

 

no i don't, i think that the police would ask you to prove that he had it in his posession AND that it was the exact same deck that you had stolen...
