I'd lower it with those wheels personally. I think it would look pretty good then.

For a lifted guy like me, the big fender openings are a blessing for our bigger tires -- but it doesn't help you sport guys much at all, lol.

I vote drop it, but only mildly. Those wheels prefer a "performance" look, more so than a flashy slammed look.

Lookin good, either way! I like the wheels, even with the separate area code between fender and tire.

those wheels are sweet. Makes me want a street truck. Drop that thing tastefully. Not slammed to the ground. But something that will give it a sportier look.

How low do I go???

thanks... i need to do some research on lowering.
Ive noticed with these wheels the better handling and even smoother ride than the OEM firestones (surprise, although ive got to mention the Firestones lasted 67k miles) I know i will lose ride quality when i drop it... i just dont want to lose too much. Belltech suspension parts seems expensive and DJM seems reasonable....
Any ideas on how low to go???

I say leave it at the stock height and put bigger tires on it. http://onlinetires.com is where I bought my tires from if you're looking to buy any. Those are the cheapest I found on the internet for my Toyo Proxes S/T's.

personally, I would go with a 2/3 drop so you have a mildly "raked" look. Would sit loer on the tires but have a performance look not a slammed look

if you go through DJM for your 2/3 drop, your lookin at about $215 plus shipping. The ride will be a lttle stiffer but the handling you will get and the stance will far out do the qulity ofthe ride. Dont get me wrong, you will notice it over stock height, but it isnt a bad ride at all. A wider tire would look good under there too

lol "255" is the width of the tires guys that isn't much help with out giving him the second number to identify the ratio of sidewall to width.

you're ride quality shouldn't decrease much as long as you keep a good amount of sidewall on them puppies. Most lowered guys lose RQ from having lo-pro tires and skatin' on D's.

I say 2/3 drop and a bunch more tire.

as far as the tires, go with something like a 255/60....that will still give you enough sidewall for a comftorable ride. You go with a low profile sidewall, and you will get a rough ride if you decide to lower it. Just my .02
