upper A-arm conversion?

So i need to replace ALL the ball joints on the front of my truck and my work (Kragen Auto Parts) sells all of em for around 200$ (thats with my discount). My buddy with an 07' ranger has his stock ones layin around and he said he will sell them both (with upper ball joints installed in them already) for 50$. I was wondering, will the stock upper A-arms fit my 98' ranger? even if i have a 3 inch spindle lift?

They changed the passenger side arm on the torsion bar trucks in 03 to a one piece arm, axing the two piece arm on 02 and older(and some 03).

I don't have much experience with the coil sprung truck's balljoints/arms, but I know about the torsion bar trucks. When we did the drop on my little brothers coil sprung truck, i believe the uppers were all 1 piece arms. As long as the donor arms came off a truck with the same suspension as yours(coil sprung) it should work just fine. Even if your truck is two piece, and the friends is one piece, it still should work. No suspension changes/spindle changes between the years(as far as I know)

okay, because his 07' has coilovers and so does mine, its just that the ball joints and a-arm are one complete part, not two seperate parts like on my 98.
