V-8 Ranger Project???

First let me start by apogizing for the holy war that this post may start. I have sworn to be a die hard chevy fan for life but i have recently bought a Ford Ranger just because I needed a truck really bad. But it turns out that I really like the little truck. The 2.3 has alot more power than i thought it would. But back to the point I was considering doing a V-8 project but with a 350. The only reason i would go chevy is because I have enough parts to build 4 or 5 chevy v8's laying around. My question is has anyone else done this kind of cross build before?

I think If you use the search option of this forum, or even on google. You will find something. But I am 90% sure that someone has already started this way. You are just fanning the flames.

Being around here for a bit, I've come to realise that anything is possible with enough determination...If you want a 350 ranger, then go for it...Be expecting to do a lot of fabricating though...If you want something easy, I suggest you put a couple 350's together and sell them, then buy a ford 302 to put in your truck.

If people have put SR20DET (nissan turbo 4 cylinder) in their ranger, then I'm sure you can do a 350 if you have patience and knowhow.

For future reference, when discussing V-8's, you should put it in the v8 section.
