Value Of 2002 Thunderbolt

I am thinking about purchasing A 2002 Thunderbolt with 113,000 miles on it. It is a level one with the 4.0 engine and is in excellent condition. I know it is hard to put a value on a truck that you have not seen in person but if some of you experienced Rangerphiles could give me an opinion of a fair price range I would appreciate it. Thank You.

I am glad you asked that question because upon further research I found out that this truck actually is a base Thunderbolt and not a level one. Here is the breakdown on the different levels:

The Thunderbolt base package for 2002 includes several visual upgrades:

Non-Functional Hood Scoop
Monochromatic Side-Body Cladding and Rear Roll Pan
Three Exterior Badges
Single Outlet Exhaust Tip
Thunderbolt Logo Wheel Center Caps
Monochromatic Grille, Front Bumper, and Fascia Extension
Thunderbolt Headrest Appliques.

Once the base package is added, three appearance / performance option packages are available:

Thunderbolt Level I:
Front Fascia Fog Lamps
Soft Tonneau Cover
Rear Lip Spoiler

Thunderbolt Level II:
Front Fascia Fog Lamps
Soft Tonneau Cover
Rear Lip Spoiler
Performance Package

Thunderbolt Level III:
Front Fascia Fog Lamps
Performance Package
Hard Tonneau Cover

Worth what a normal ranger is worth to me. Just like a F level 2...not worth anymore then a normal ranger in my mind.

The performance package includes a lower restriction exhaust and a performance air intake. SLP claims a 10 HP gain on the 3.0 engines and 15HP on the 4.0

its just a regular ole ranger in pricing terms. Prolly would be about $5500 private party, dealer will prolly try to get $8000 or so for it.
