that is a pretty good look up but if you guys ever want a FULL FORD history on your truck i can look up literally every ford document on your ford lincoln or mercury....

Yes, I could tell you its build date and the date it was sold, among other things.

My truck's 2nd birthday will be July 15th. :)

 

WOWak: I know where it was built and stuff like that but I suspect it was in an accident as my hood sits cockeyed with a huge gap on the pass side. Would they have record of that if a repair shop reported that or anything? Other than that I'd love to know everything possible about my truck since I bought it used.

You can get that off the TRS VIN lookup I believe.

 

The short answer is maybe.

a) it could have been wrecked and repaired off-the-record

b) the repair could be on the vehicle title history, but not necessarily on the oasis

The Oasis is basically ford's report on your vehicle from their point of view: and warranty services done, any TSBs or recalls, etc.

 

wowak is right...OASIS can only track what was reported to ford and uploaded to the ford server from the dealerships...if someone totalled a truck and fixed it themselves it would not show up in OASIS...
Hey Bry, all i do is copy all of the information and paste it into wordpad or MS Word and e-mail it like that. that's the easiest way i've found to do it...

 

I most likely wont find anything new but it would be nice to have an official record. I'll get my VIN tomorrow and give it to whoever wants to do it. WOWak I know you're busy and on the road a lot so maybe I'll just bug Rob to do it? Doesn't matter to me.
