well crap...no bull bar for me...!

My papa told me a few months back that he had a bull bar off of a ranger...a black one. He told me i could have it. Ive been pondering on it and decided id like to put it on!, well i call him today and told him i was coming to get it and he said "I THREW IT AWAY!! a perfectly good black (no rust no nothing) bull bar!!! all i had to do was wash it, throw some wax on it to make it shine like new again and yuo couldnt tell that it wasnt new, but nooooooo, HE THREW IT AWAY......!!!!! the bad thing, it was going to be free too!

dude, your dad did you a favor, bull bars are a waste! your truck is def. one of my favorites on the site, and a bull bar would have ruined the truck.. Do you want somewhere to mount lights? Have you thought about a cattle gaurd?

cattle guard = brush guard...

I didn't like how small the Westin Safari bar was, so I opted for the Bull Bar...still has places to mount lites, just not KC Daylighters like I would have liked...

Yea I didn't like the look of my bull bar. That and with the lights I couldn't use my tow hooks anymore.

never liked bull bars. if you mount lights on it, the lights are actually lower than stock ranger foglamps, which looks funny.

My bull bar would put it above them, but not by much. Maybe the safari bar was lower??

the safari bar sat kinda low. I had 4x6 lights on mine and the top of the lights were right in the way of the hooks.

pic of the lights versus the hooks.
