Well just had an interesting night... welcome all...

Well i just worked all day in the lovely ER... having loads of fun.. was EMS all day.. get off at 7:30.. was driving home the truck dies and i steer it into a parking lot.. well.. the truck starts up.. wont move forward or back at all.. first guess clutch is finally gone.....

NOPE...



dad showed up to tow rope the truck home.. we dont get more then 1/8th of a mile and this is what happens...

can we say tripod... axle slid right out and bam sliding on the backing plate of the brakes...

C clip broke.. one axle down time to buy another one tomorrow.. have pics of it on the wrecker but there on dads phone mine died right after this...

good ****...

i think the silver truck is pissed of at me for buying another ranger... dont you think?

Yea I would say its pissed at you lol. Thats sucks man. Hope its back on the road soon!

sorry about your luck, hey i work on an ambulance in nashville,tn accually finishing out a 48hr shift right now because some people dont know how to get to work

That happened to a friend of mine once. Only both axles came out at the same time. He watched them come out in the side mirrors and the back of the truck just dropped to the diff. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, he put into 4wd (now only fwd) and kept driving, dragging the back.

i work for a hospital in the ER.. what i ment was it was EMS constantly all day.. when i left we had 4 of them in the hallway because we had no beds..

ya i watched it come out that was interesting never felt that feeling of it going down then dragging...

the tow truck driver and police where great but being in my ER outfit with EMERGENCY ROOM all over it helped too..

ya waking up bright and early to work on it...


I left Roush.. they did some shady things i wasnt gonna be apart of.. and they didnt tell the truth about the pay raise.. went back to the hospital in the ER making more money now and working less hours..

gonna finish my management degree and stick in the medical field, automotive just down right blows right now..

i never posted about it...

That's why c-clip axles suck. Everyone's nightmare -- especially offroad.

i dont think it was the c-clips falt.. i think the main pin bolt sheared or something along those lines.. i'll find out tomorrow

push comes to shove if i cant get an axle at a good price because i am just gonna replace it.. i will steal the splash axle then go get something better for the splash down in TN at my dads friends junk yard

axle nicked the body side and tailight.. it was so greasy tho it didnt do damage it will buff out..

mud flap is screwed and driver dual pipe.. those scraped on the flat bed tow truck.. other then that no
