Did your truck come with the towing option? If not, maybe you didn't get it.

Mine is the stock one.

Yea, I Ordered towing package and it was installed at he factory. I remember someone posting that ford gets the best deal they can on hitches so some could be hidden hitch, some another brand, some a third brand.

A perfect fit, eh? Evidently not if you needed a mallet to install it!

with all due respect. its a trailer hitch dude, not a suit. it fit so well it needs to be nudged into place with a mallet where it'll stay until you put the bolts in. not holding a 50 pound hitch into place with two hands while holding a wrench is a dam good fit in my opinion. good luck

@ RangerDave, my truck has tow package and no factory trailer hitch.

i see yours is an 07.. the 07's were a weird year for a hitch if i remeber correctly. when i bought my truck barely any of them on the lot had hitches. there were fx4s without them to.. in 08 if im not mistaken they made a hitch standard on at least 4x4 trucks. i think.

Wirelessly posted (Timberwolf)

Street scene custom hitches are pure swag....yet you need to be rockin' a rollpan bumper. Hides nicely behind the licence plate. Pretty stealth if you ask me....lol I want one!
