What did you pay for your spray-in liner??
looks ****ing amasing for only 325 installed wow makes me want to trade in my plastic liner
Guess I'm one of the few who prefers a drop-in liner. I've parked next to a few trucks that had professional spray-on liners and they always look like crap. A buddy of mine had his Chevy S-10 sprayed with Line-X and I could literally pick chips off with my fingertips. $350-$500+ just seems like a hell of a lot of money to spend on something you can't undo.
I've heard drop-in liners slide all over the place and rain causes the bed to rust under the liner. Funny thing is that my 95 Ranger still has the original drop-in liner and it never moves an inch since it's bolted in place. I've never had any rust under the liner either and the truck has always been kept outside. Just my 2 cents. Not trying to start a “spray-on vs. drop-in” argument.

ive seen it, stuff sucks, plain and simple. it mght look nice but if you actually use your bed it wont last long. to me $500 is a small price to pay to protect my rig. i always think its funny how people will blow hundreds or sometimes thousands of dollars on stereo systems, euro tail lights, expensive wheels, window tint, ect ect, all things that do nothing at all for the over all well being or value of there truck, but will never spend a few hundred on a product that will actually protect it and help it last longer. blows my mind. ive got line-x in my truck and enclosed trailer and i will never use another liner again, period. line-x is simply that good and IMO worth every penny.
Think of a tow truck, and the life it goes through, this stuff on all those trucks, lasting for over 7 years now, with not one chip.
i agree with others. make sure your guy does the prep work. there was a couple other threads recently about the QC of line-x. also $500 is what i paid. anything more then that is an insult and a ripe off.

i payed alittle over 500 in 2007 for over the rail, but when i say over the rail..i mean over the rail good. haha. and i didnt even say anything and the dealer took out all my bolts and my tie downs and stuff. i had my walk behind mowers in and out of the back of my truck and chipped the edge of the tailgate, and walked into the dealer and he was like oh, leave me your tailgate and ill call you when its done. they were backed up with word becasue its an off road shop but still,
I love my line-x. I paid $425 with the over the rail, got a deal plus my buddy got his truck bed done at the same time. I need to use my warranty one of these days as I'm missing some bedliner material. You can kind of see it in this pic on the tailgate and one chunk in the bed. There are a few more chunks missing near the cab as well. Hauling around a few axles here and there will do that though. .
I would post up a pic of my bed and what a cheap plastic liner did to it but I don't want to hurt anyone's eyes or go burn down a bed liner factory LOL. As a little "teaser" of horror I have a 6 foot bed with only 3 intact bed bolts. And I can change out my fuel pump without dropping the tank or removing the bed. If you don't believe me ask Kevin and John who saw it at the Tri-State meet.
Need less to say, when I replace this bed the new one is getting Line-Xed.

Anyone with the Rhino lining know what the warranty is like? Picked up a truck from a friend before he moved (military, got relocated to NYC, not sure if I should feel sorry for him or not).
The lining is very thin on some spots (can see the red paint through it) and has come off the tailgate in some places. Just wondering if I could get a warranty fix, or maybe a small $$ payment to get those sections resprayed.
