being from chicago i see them all the time on cheby astro vans and 93 cheby 1500's with 13 inch wheel barrel tires on them. Point being? Id never get one...

I can bring up one point where it just makes sense. Whether it is this or another product described. The higher you lift the truck, the harder it is for someone in a car to actually see the taillights. There are lifted guys here with multiple rear end misshaps.

well another reason i want one is b/c i deliver pizza's so my risk of getting in a accident are a lot higher so if i have 5 break lights and i get rear ended the police would be like WTF how could you not see him lol

The sad thing is you could put strob lights on your truck and still get hit.
