What kind of hitch is this?

http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/pts/1009546532.html

This hitch looks weird to me. I am looking for a hitch that sits as close to my bumper as possible, as to have the most ground clearance.

Is this a factory hitch? Why is is shaped weird?

Looks like a front hitch maybe...that what you are looking for?

After all, they call it a "receiving" hitch......is there a "passing" hitch out there somewhere?

Front Hitch.

And I don't think you are going to find anything better then the one you have. I think hauling your bike on that hitch hauler is a lost cause without lifting it.

I found those two, they are a little old ads but I'd still email them. Usually there's a decent amount of Ranger hitches for sale on CL. Make sure you use www.craigshelper.com too when looking for stuff, it makes it a lot easier.

That 2nd link is the hitch I have. The guy hasn't taken the ad down yet. I already emailed the other guy a while back, with no response. Who tries to haul a race car with a 2.3L ?
