I'v been reading a lot about packages, Fx4, Fx4 Lvl 2, XLT, Edge.
Now I'v just been curious..
What does my XLT 4.0 have?
Along with a limited slip.. Would that mean just 1 tire is spinning? Or is somethin to do with LSD or differentials.
My gears?
And anybody got some sites where i can look for a brush guard?
Or something with a skid plate.
Or should I just go to a local off roadin shop?

Sorry if I jack this thread but I think this question fits. When I got my truck it came without any XLT or XL or Fx4 markings.
I'm trying to figure out what package it is. Any help will be appreciated!

Details-
1999 2 Door Extended Cab 6' Bed
3.0L V6 Automatic 4-Speed
4.10 LS Gears
4x4
Front Tow Hooks

If any other specs or pics are needed I can put some up.

As far as your original topic...

Your '01 XLT 4x4 comes equipped with carpeting(grey or tan), cloth seats(buckets or 60/40 split bench, chrome bumpers, textured grey valence with fog lights and textured grey flares if equipped with styleside, 3.0L or 4.0L since your are a 4x4, 2dr reg cab, 2dr xcab, or 4dr xcab, XLT comes with upgraded door panels compared to the XL models if not equipped with power options. Standard air conditioning, standard AM/FM/CD. That just about covers it for the standards and some options. ALOT of others....are options. Like what style cd player, power options, tilt/cruise/leather wheel, wheels and tire sizes. I belive the 01-07 XLT 4x4's all have 16" alloys except for the high end Fx4 models which got 15's.

Main things you got compared to others: upgraded door panels, carpeting, cloth seats, and chrome bumpers.

Yeah, what Shane said. I know you dont have a Level ll, mine came with Alcoas, BF Goodrich tires, 3 skidplates I think, and different tow hooks on the front. And my seats are blue, and the rest of the interior is black.
