What should I do to my ranger next?

Im probably going to have about $150 to spend on my truck, but not sure what I want to spend it on for the most "bang for the buck". On my list of to do's for my truck is a 2/3 drop kit, window tint, clear corners, aftermarket radio, center caps for my wheels, and real side mirrors to replace the flags. Here is a PS of my truck what it should look like when its done.......so what should I do first? I kinda already know what most of ya'll are going to say, but lets hear it.
Here it is now..........

how about SAVE IT

that way you can afford that lowering kit faster

personally, ive done all the cheap mods, and if i would have skipped them, and saved up, i could have done what really matter FIRST

bwester04 12-05-2006 08:52 PM

A roll pan would look nice too.

texasbullseye89 12-05-2006 08:53 PM

deapee 12-05-2006 09:08 PM

You don't need to spend money to drop it...just find a torch and heat up the springs.

LoOnaTik 12-05-2006 09:10 PM

finish the wheels 1st

JoshK 12-05-2006 09:19 PM

Mark98xlt 12-05-2006 09:29 PM

Drop it correctly 4/5

EdGe_wannabe 12-05-2006 09:48 PM

Yea, I don't think the 2/3 will look good. Go lower home boi!

I would say get a bigger tire, I have a 275/60/15 that looks nice an meaty IMO. However Im not sure if a 4cyl could really turn that so easy (probably could) but I would say get more side wall and probably wider tires.

Why put bigger tires on when he just got them, and hes going lower?

I love how they advertise their product, they say 2/3 drop kit but yet show a truck with a 4/5 drop.

As for the guy who said heat the springs up, thats the worst hack idea I have ever heard. They springs weaken from getting heated and will sag more and more over time and eventually fail hence braking.

Im thinking I might just go ahead and drop it, but it will only be a 2/3. I was looking at summitracing, and they have a flip kit with shackles......it says 5in. drop, but if you just flip the axle, theres your 4-5" drop, so why you need shackles? Im thinking its for the 3" drop........heres the link........

Flipkit gives you 5 inches with stock shackles, If you put in the 2 inch lifting shackles it gives you a 3 inch drop.
