Hey guys, I need to remove the core support off of a 1996 and a 2001 Ranger and reuse them? What is the best way to do this? They seem to be spot welded and what seems like patch welded (like a spot weld except a patch instead of a patch). Anyone done this before?

 

Grinder or just cut them out and get new ones.

 

grind/drill them out and re-weld

 

Use gas cutter to remove them out...

 

Grinder, or if your really feeling fun. get out a plasma torch.
