Tired have about 5 miles on them, literally.

Regular maintenance.

Im tired of dealing with it. Im not a mechanic and I cant get the help I need to fix it so I want to just get it out of my life at this point...

Let me know what you guys think. thanks.

hmmm.. with an engine problem like that... well... you wont be able to pay off the loan unless its running and even then you probably get enough to pay it off.

ehhh I disagree with that. I think if it was running Id surely get at least what I owe for it.

no mechanic can give you a straight up answer on what is wrong?

i would think it would be alot cheaper and rewarding to get it fixed then sell it.

I cant get it to a mechanic. It needs to be towed. I live so far out, Im afraid its going to cost way more than I want to spend to get it to the shops, but the other thing is, once I find out what is wrong with it, Im afraid Im not going to be able to afford the repairs.

what im saying is it might be worth your while to fix it.

if its broke might only sell for 3k at most, fix it and it could sell for much more.

like maybe it will cost 1000 to fix it. once its fixed it would sell for over 5k maybe more.

sadly a new 3.0L motor might be in its future or it could be a blown starter something that simple.. in any rate a used motor is like $600 that is far cheaper then taking a like $4000 loss on it..

For real get that thing straped up on a trailer. Buying a buddy a case is way cheaper than a tow. And I agree with the Zachs that fixing it is probably the best bet. Selling now would require a huge loss.

If I lived closer, I'd try to help you out. But we'd love for you to keep your truck if at all possible.

sorry guy.
Id feel so bad if you drove all the way out here....thanks for the offer.

Finally came up with a plan after a huge fight with my dad. He is going to "borrow" a trailor from work and take it to a shop. I will let you guys know the results when I hear something.

I want to keep my truck. I love off-roading, and if I get rid of it I wont have anything to tow the 4-wheeler with, so Im working on it. The night of this post, I was sooooo pissed. I just changed my spark plugs, it was a *****, and it still wasnt running right. On top of that, my warranty JUST ended too so that kind of played a part in my mood that day. lol. oh well anyways, time will tell....

Good luck. Here's to hoping it's something really stupid and cheap! And make sure to keep us informed.

I would definetly just have it towed and have a mechanic replace the engine.

Nothing is better than a 4wd ranger...especially since you have done so much to it.

If your willing to sell it, I know a lot of people..
