Wheel Gap?

I'm not sure if this is common with the rangers, but my wheel gap is not the same in the rear. I recently installed my body lift and was going to crank the torsion bars, so I measured the wheel gaps in the rear;

Driver side (top of tire to bottom of fender flare) = 9"
Passanger side " " = 8 1/4"

I put a level across my bed and it's perfectly level.

Any ideas as to why I have a 3/4" difference from side to side in the rear?
