wheel size

Can anyone tell me how wide my stock wheels are? They are the forged aluminum Alcoas, with 31x10.5's. I'm asking this because I'm trying to figure out the maximum allowable tire size for my factory wheels. Thanks in advance guys.

the Alcolas are 15X7s

as for max tire size on those rims you can go up to a 33" stock but DONT go over 11.5" wide on a 7" rim!

Cool I had 33x11.5 in mind. Are there any cons in having an 11.5 tire on a 7 inch wheel?

an 11.5 will be just fine on a 7" rim (no cons). But if you go any wider... well just dont

Who makes a 33x11.5x15?

I have 33x10.5 on the alcoas. I think they fit the wheel perfectly.

That makes me feel better. In a few weeks I'm getting 33x12.5x16 trxus mud terrains that Im mounting on stockers. I'll prob. have to run lower air pressure for them to wear evenly though wont I?

I don't think anyone cares but I'll post the wheel width ranges for 15" BFG A/Ts anyway. Other tire brands/models may have different specs.

10.50: 7"~9"
11.50: 8"~10"
12.50: 8.5"~11"

So, according to BFG, the widest A/T you should mount on a stock LII 15x7 Alcoa is a 10.50.

That seems odd the everyone and their brother keeps saying run a 12.5" wide tire on an 8" wheel. when what you just put up there BFG doesnt even recommend an 8" wheel for a 12.5" wide tire.

So why shouldn't I go with a 12.5? zabeard have you had any issues with this size tire on your stockers?
