when it rains it poors...

I messed up my truck after hitting that sink hole which was alright i guess not too pricey. But then this week has been crazy.

First my truck is working being a mutt.... 04 Ranger parts, 03 Ranger parts, Jeep parts, Chevy parts, Explorer Parts, etc...

Ive been working on rebuilding a 31 spline 8.8 with drums for my truck, just wanted the bigger axle shafts, well when I ordered the pads for it I ordered the 91 Explorer shoes and spring kit. Then i got a full set of drum brakes from Bill for cheap, which was cool, a few months later i finally get to installing the brakes on it and the pads wont work! wtf, well then i remembered these are explorer brake shoes... They were close but just not right. Cant find the receipt! Great!

So now i need new brake shoes! Crap.

I'm working on the truck tonight and I had hung the calipers up on the frame, wouldnt you know it one falls and as its falling it kinks the line. bah!

So what else could possibly go wrong this week! lol

I'm sure more is to come... Ive got to get my 31 spline ready for Friday and my D30 ready, not to mention flush the tranny. lol

Yeah idk why i made this thread but i did

I think after this weekend, I'm going to be sick and tired of working on the truck and blowing money left and right

I guess you really did mean poors instead of pours. Your truck is making you poor!

Aaron? WTF?

Your truck and my sammi would get along nicely. I've been chasing gremlins in the brake system for the better part of 3 weeks and it still isn't working. I can't get the new windshield in for the life of me, and now my transfer case is making all kinds of funky noises and won't go into 2wd. I feel your pain man.

I thought you where talking about the rain we got today.

Your truck is coming together nicley. With new stuff (expecially custom) there are always going to be alot of bugs to work out. Eventually it will become a problem free truck.....atleast until the rear end
