I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to buy an engine. I already thought of junkyards. Does anyone know of any places on-line I think I have to have a 2004+ engine.

I am looking for a 3.0 just the engine but I am going to call around to the junkyards and if I can find a 4.0 engine and tranny for cheap I am going to get it.

Thanks for the help guys! Jeff I dont have time or money to do a 5.0 swap I wish I did if I had a second (street legal) vehicle I would check into it.

 

why not just get the 4.0???

oil was **** and the engine blew up.... thers a thread somwhere...

 

ok, yeah, I think I remember seeing that now. That really sucks, well actually it blew...

 

his oil pump decided to go on strike.

 

I put an aftermarket oil pump in my new motor!

 

Probally a wise decision.
