no we call it melting the plastic grill....but i just remembered Wowak has a alum one so ya...nvm to him

Well if you want to run them on the street then 55w or less, the real concern is getting hot to melt the grille I would say. More then 55w gets pretty hot.

damn. yeah i figured there was either a law against it (somehow) or someone melted their grille at some point. that sucks.

with my old lights, the back of the grill melted not the whole thing. you can't tell it's melted unless i take the grill off and show you or point it out, these new lights dont even touch the grill either so it's all good

You can either make some mounts for them or drill into the header panel on top or bottom and bolt them to those holes.

take measurements then just take off your grille, drill in the plastic and mount and wire..

lights

Ok i want a set of lights behind my grill, my question is, do i wire these lights into my fog light wiring or do i have to wire them on there on own switch(55w or less)thanks for any help and sorry to hijak this tread
