bang for the buck

My '89 had 185,000 on the first 2.9 V6 engine, and 175,000 on the second 2.9 (and was still running fine) when I sold it. A good mechanic told me one time "Don't look at the miles since the last change, look at the oil. If it's dirty, change it!"
