Window rain/wind deflectors question!

Ive been wanting some for my 05 and ive tried the weather techs from my 93 and the passenger side doesnt work right, i think the window molding is different. Which brings me to my Problem. At autozone i seen a different brand and it says 93-07, has anyone else used them? Not sure on the brand but it the it is avm or something similar.

Wade has one that is a little wider than the regular one but not as wide as the Pre-Runner type.
The water drips off of these and misses the inside of the window.
Look at pics of my truck and you will see them.
The p/n I do not remember and would have to look up.

Nothing has changed gutter or window wise since '93...

Personally, NOTHING beats the looks of the AVS(Auto Vent Shade) in-channel brand ones.

And....gotta ***** mine... AVS in-channel, part # 192083 Click me, I'm a LINK!!

I just looked online and autozone sells the auto ventshade ones for 40 bucks and i have 20 off on my card so i may just pick some up today, got to love the northwest and the rain all over my inside!

HAHA! MAKE ME STOP!! lol.

The 4 piece ones just have a cosmetic one that goes over the back window with like a $20 add-on in price. I wanted to add them to mine and even got a set of them, but found out the visors are totally different style visors, even though they're the same brand. My guess is that they're different model lines....like the 4dr vents I got came from a outside stick-on and not an in-channel front kit.

Mine are about 5 years old and have a white logo on them...I think newer years just have a raised logo on them.

Just order up an in-channel set from autozone if they don't have them in-stock, then use that card! lol. Believe me, you WANT in-channel especially on the newer truck. Stick on the outside ones just look goofy as hell.

Are you in the PNW?

haha...I don't make my way up there much at all. Never have really gone into Mid-Eastern Wa, more of a Western, Wa cruiser. You know, not in the sticks. lol.

That's pretty cool you bought it from Gladstone Toyota so you sorta know my areaish. Gladstones like 20mins away from me and PDX is like 20mins away. lol.

The Wade In-Channel Shades I believe stick out a little more than the AVS.
The standard one don’t stick out enough and drip in the window opening.

YES !
Mine are stuck in there, they also have to be kind-of twisted a little to fit.
Follow directions… on install.

Roll the window up and leave it up for a while again by the directions.
Maybe push up on the windows from both sides to make sure it is up all the way.
I hope you have air conditioning.

What manufacturer did you buy ?
it is a compromise between the sticky tape and the pressure of the fit.
The adhesive should bind with the felt and they should stay in place, mine have not for some time, (knock on wood)…
