For anyone curious if plastidip works it actually does really good. It all depends how you apply it. You have to do thin coats and do up to 5-6 coats. I plastidipped my stock rims off my old truck and it last 2yrs in Illinois through the winter and all. It does tend to fade though after about 1 1/2. Peels off super easy though and preserves whatever you painted over.
