year compatibility?
just got a 2006 reg cab 2wd 3.0 basic ranger with 101k on the clock as a DD to save on gas. just wondering what years are compatable with the 06. body, suspension, drive line and so on. any info would be appreciated

Much went unchanged in the Ranger from the 98 to 2012. Aside from cosmetic updates. The 3.0L Vulcan V6 ended in 2008. The 2.5L I4 was replaced with the 2.3L Duratec I4 in 2001 along with the 4.0L OHV being replaced with the 4.0L SOHC.
