Haha, hell yes. I am in the same boat. Screw studying.

when you can tell the approximate temperature by how your truck drives....
(this worked with my old truck...if it was cold it drove like Sh!t)

When your GF knows you like your truck more than her and accepts it.

When people point at you and ask "are you that guy with the loud @$$ brown Ranger?"

When the highlight of your day is getting in your truck and starting it up.

When you're eating at a restaurant and all you can do is stare at your truck through the window...

Seriously need to make a shirt for this sh*t

TheStig88 05-04-2009 09:57 PM

when you walk into an auto parts store and start drooling...

crazymikey 05-04-2009 10:06 PM

You preferred to buy a Ranger rather than an S10 thinking that because they are just as popular that there would be tons of aftermarket support available for them...just to find out that isn't quite the case.

But a stock Ranger is still cooler than a fully done S10.

Damn, that is so true.. I found that out the hard way lol

crazymikey 05-04-2009 10:25 PM

Why is it always easier to learn the hard way?

08XLT4x4 05-04-2009 10:26 PM

good question, you'd think I'd have figured that out by now lol

Haha, this worked for me for about a year, before she said she couldn't take it anymore...asked me to chose, her or the truck... I chose the truck. :-) (ex gf, not the current one)

00stepside 05-04-2009 10:27 PM

when your girlfriend calls it ranger-porn instead of ranger-forums.

when your girl friend supports your hate towards jeep wranglers, and points them out and laughs with you at how nerdy the guy is... the closest thing to off roading he has ever gotten to was, driving the dirt roads to his grandpas house, which was the reason for the winch and hi-lift...

Ha ha no they dont.

Toreador4x4 05-04-2009 10:29 PM

when you are known as "the little guy with the ranger at the local auto parts store"

when you call said auto parts store, tell them your name, and they ask, "what year ranger"

when you know all the interchangeable parts for your year of truck that you have.

when you have a two groups on AIM "people" and "ranger-forums"

when you clean your truck, and take it on a very careful, slow drive to take pictures of it.

when the most exciting destination to your road trip is an RF meet

when all your friends drive rangers

when your bank statement reads $0

when anything you drive without a 3.0 seems like a nimble sports car

when you look at your paycheck on Friday and think of what you will buy next

when you look at every other ranger on the road as a parts donor vehicle

the parts you want are so rare and/or obsolete it makes the dealership parts guys head spin

when you know the build date of your truck and celebrate it (5/12/1998)

1) true true true!

2) That was one of the best ones yet! I do it daily!

3) Yeah, between you me and Shane, we make Ford want to relearn their part numbers. haha

when you search Craigslist for the word "ranger" every few hours a day...

X2

TrePaul86 05-04-2009 10:37 PM

Stone how did you know I was doing that?

Honestly, I search that a good 4-5 times a day in about 5 different surrounding cities. Willing to drive 120-200mi for parts!

That's a really good one though!

I usually go to TN from Mi to get my parts :tapedshut

04blackedge 05-04-2009 10:47 PM

I do that every morning and on lunch break. searchtempest.com will search cities within a certain mile range.

bjohnson238 05-04-2009 10:51 PM

when your on R-F all night at work instead of doing your job.

when you keep putting more money into a Ranger than its worth.
