LED headlights taillights

I know the actual required bulb that sylvania tells me to get but how do I know what type of LED buld to get instead? See the dilema is that I woulda like black altezza lights that are clear everywhere but I dont want to see the bright color of a bulb reflecting all around and ruining that nice clean look, so i think leds would be great for turn signals and brake lights and such

some help from anyone thats done this or knows about this would be great

for the turn signals (the ones in the headlights) get the LED equivalent to 3457.

For the corner lights, get the LED equivalent to 194

yea, i know the bulbs i need i just need to know what leds are the equivalent to those since they dont get sold by standard bulb size.

Also i heard there might be some blinker type of addition that you need to add before the led bulb if converting to LEDs

uhhh just get the brightest cluster you can, I have no idea where you would find that info though, shouldn't where ever you are buying them from have that?

and I can't imagine that they would make a cluster setup that fits the heads and tails but isn't bright enough....

... i know they come in clusters, i've seen many of them on sites, the part im having trouble with is picking which one will properly fit into the hole.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html

if you look on there, a link is near the top labeled:

CLICK HERE TO VIEW IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT CONVERSION TO LED CAR BULBS

I was wondering what this really ment, because i've never heard of adding a module to switch to LEDs

and in this cross reference below i'm pretty sure it helps me pick out the bulbs but I wanted to make sure, I don't want to have to do this ordering twice when some nice people from the forums with some knowledge might be able to help, thanks all

do a google search for LED Forums. then, once u find the forum, its a white page, the forum is hosted on, search by member: FMD I posted about this a while back. and the concensus on this is, forget it, its not worth the trouble since the LEDs arent bright enuff, well not that there not bright enuff, the trouble is the focusing lense. u need a special lense to focus the light properly in order to get such desired effect. this is a HUGE problem facing all those folks who would like the move from incondesent(sp) bulbs to LEDs

SPIDERLITE has LED taillights available for our trucks. They're like $40 a piece, but they fit in the OEM taillight housing. There are no headlight LED's for our trucks though. You can however find the turn signal bulbs and the corner lights that are LEDs
