Anyone know the distance from the inner bulb flange to the lens on a 01 and up head light? I am getting ready to do HID's and I need to know how much room I have. I am considering some 3" projectors, but I think I will need 10mm more space than I have.

Not to be an @ss but it only take two tab pulled up to remove the headlight assembly, then a twist of the bulb assembly (watch out for the bulb, don't touch it, wrap it in some wax paper but not when it is hot) and measure it on yours.

Faster, easy and you get the info needed.

 

Can't do that, because the metal bulb shield is in the way...
