06 Ranger 4x4 - 4.0L driver side front wheel skids

Greetings everyone a 'newbie here' I hope this is the right place to ask questions about brakes / ABS.
Symptom: When braking suddenly the driver side front wheel skids - no check engine or ABS lights are on.
So far I've replaced the following:
Both front calipers and pads, the brake line going to the caliper on the drivers side, and checked both front brake rotors. Also blead both front brake calipers.
A few years back the front wheel bearings were replaced so I don't suspect there is anything going on with the speed sensors.
My next steps were to remove / clean the front wheel speed sensors (for good measure), then clean and bleed the rear brakes (again for good measure)
So far from what I see elsewhere the issue may be with the ABS pump itself. Soooo - has anyone else seen this problem?
Does it make sense to remove the ABS pump, take it apart and clean it?
Worse case if I have to replace the ABS pump whom do ya all purchase those from? I've heard it mentioned that there are places that rebuild them - any recommendations on that?
Also if the ABS pump is replaced I've seen it mentioned that it needs to be re-programed for my particular truck- does that mean it's a trip to a Ford dealership - anyone know how much they charge to do that?
Thanks in Advance for any help or insight into this issue.
I'm guessing someone has seen this before.
Thanks again
Jan
