'07 Ranger Sirius wiring harness......

Anyone know what the attached plug is for? I know one part of the wiring harness goes into the back of the radio, the other end in the Sirius unit, and the other is an iPod jack.....But what is this grey plug? I am assuming that the grey plug is a power source for the Sirius reciever since the radio wont power it up, but i don't know for sure....

Here is the wiring colors going into the grey plug:
Green/Red
Purple/Orange (twisted with grey/orange)
Grey/Orange (twisted with purple/orange)
Black/Blue

The Purple/Orange, Grey/Orange, Black/Blue, and Green/Red go to the Sirius unit...

The Purple/Orange and the Grey/Orange also go to the radio headunit

anyone know? hopefully....

Hmmm...I'm not sure. The dealer installed the Sirius stuff in our Mariner when we bought it new. I guess I could pull the radio in it and see if there is anything similar behind it.
