07 vss wire location

i've just completed installing a over head console in my 07 level II from an older explorer. i have everything wired up and working with no problems. the only one wire that i haven't hooked up is the vss. i did this mod in my 98 explorer years ago and never bothered to hook that wire up because i never noticed a difference at all, but this one stays frozen (i had in buddy's shop for a few hours and it was reading -2C). now i have searched and found that the vss is under the hood.

For 2007~2008, the corrected VSS wire (violet/orange) is found only in the engine
compartment. It runs from the PCM to the speed control servo.

thank you rwenzing for posting that. however, i am still not sure as to the location of it. am i in the correct spot with the picture below? if i am, which plug, left, center, or right?
