'09 Sport - no rear fender/wheel well liners !?!?

It took me 2 weeks to notice that there are no fender or wheel well liners in the back of my new '09 Sport. I know trucks used to be built like this way back when, but didn't more recent Rangers come with rear liners?

Seems like a great place for stone chips to start some rust. I'm going to have the truck Krown sprayed, but would like to know if there are any aftermarket or previous model year liners available that would fit.

Are we talking those plastic things that form and 'inner fender' of sorts behind the rear tires?

Or are we talking mudflaps?

Here's an '08 XLT 4x4....and it HAS the 'inner fender' things AND mudflaps...

Sports have flares....and flared trucks have slightly different rear mudflaps. If there wasn't the 'inner fender' thing, there's nothing there to protect your taillight housings. There is nothing on the front of the wheel well, just the rear. Unless Ford really went cheap and stupid for '09, which is unlikely IMO for at least this item.

My 08 did not have them so I contacted the dealer the service manager took a look and checked build specs and I should have had them. He ordered them and put them in. They are not full innner fender liners but the little pieces FX4wannabe01 showed in the pic he posted.

Did earlier ones have full inner fender liners??

George

Yes, we're talking about full inner fender liners, not just the little piece that Shane points to. My '09 has those.

Michael, you mean complete full liners? Any chance you can post a picture of the ones on your Mazda? Please make sure you force the flash on. I'd like to see what they look like.
