12V 45A Power Strip

A LOT of people have commented asking me about my power strip.

It came as a modular kit. I got it at ham radio outlet, but I think you can possibly get it at a hobby store too. they are pretty expensive ($85 +/- for the kit I got) but well worth it.

To wire it up, i attached the lead wires to the battery.

I ran the power wire through the clutch pedal hole, and under the dash over to the stick cover. (the black and red pair cables is the power strip. The other 2 are for the stereo.)

***This horrible wiring job has been re-done, I'm just using the picture for the hole location where I run the cables through to the cab.***

I attached the Anderson connectors to the ends of the wires for my accessories, and plugged them into the power strip.

Its an extremely simple setup, the only thing is, I only know of one source for it. If someone else finds another source, please post it.

Anderson Power Pole stuff rocks. My dad uses a ton of their products for ham radio and all sorts of low voltage stuff.

I use mine for ham radio too... Got an HTX 252, and a Yaesu FT857 hooked up to it. Also got a 3x12V socket attached to it.
