2.3 liter 4 cyl single barrel carb seems to crank over good great spark but smells of fuel and #2and 4 cyl are wet with gas and #1 and 3 are black and sooty .the choke solenoid clicks away when trying to start,it has new plugs, cap, rotor, ecm, coil spark is strong carb rebuilt,but doesnt start .is there a chance that ecm is giving off spark at wrong time ..??as well timing and compression is good and tested .need HELP quick i see this problem on forums alot with other guys but noone has the answer???please help fix my 83 ford ranger ...
