Battery meter Question

My battery meter runs at above normal volts, but not yet in the red section, is this alright? what could possibly be causing this?

Can you get a volt meter and check your battery voltage with the engine running. This will confirm if there is actually a problem or the gauge in the truck is just being stupid.

i can get one, but i would have to go buy one, and alot of my gauges are already bein dumb, empty fuel is at 1/8 of a tanke rather than on E, and the oil pressure gauge is always slightly below the mid range, but always in the NORMAL zone

I believe autozone rents multi-meters for free. Give them a call and see if they have them.

ACtually I think they can check it for you for free. But yeah you pay for the price of the tool and then when you return it they give you it all back. Its called a deposit

The oil pressure isn't really a gauge. It is a dummy. It will only read middle or nothing. If there is more than I believe 7psi, it shows middle. Less than 7psi shows nothing. Its stupid.

That is also normal for the fuel gauge.
