2002 2.3 auto vacuum on rear of intake

2002 2.3 auto There is a relatively large vacuum line I believe goes to the transmission. Is this a molded hose? If so what it the specific name? I have a piece of duct take stopping most of the leak but I wonder if the hose would collapse because it’s so weak. Do I just need to pull it off to determine the diameter and length and buy standard hose.

If you are talking about the vacuum tube that comes off the back of the intake, and goes directly down, that goes to the PCV valve on the driver side of the engine.

As far as I am aware, there are no vacuum lines that go to the transmission on the 2001.5+ 2.3 DOHC trucks.

In the image, the line is "behind" the big vac line that goes to the brake booster. If you follow that line, it goes to a small plastic clip that's attached to the head, as a retainer. It then follows down below the intake to the PCV breather box

The grey white thing that's attached "to the block" directly below cylinder 3 in this image, attached to the hose that leads to the firewall, is the PCV valve.

Thanks

I’ll follow it again. I guess I followed something else.
