Power windows

Made a mistake! Have removed engine from my 2000 flex fuel Ranger to re-build engine. However, prior to engine removal I had both windows about half-way down. Now I need to move the truck out of the shop for a few days but cannot figure out how to raise windows. Simply putting the battery back in and trying to close windows did not work. Anyone out there been in this situation, or know how to close these windows? Thanks for reading this.

Weird. You had the battery connected and the key in the run position?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we installed the battery and connected it. Turned the key on but could not raise the windows. We assumed that when we removed the engine and disconnected all the connections that somehow power could not get to the windows. Have you had this problem?

No. I'm surprised there's an issue with this. Is it possible you disconnected power to the fuse/relay box somehow?

Duh!

Thanks to both of you. The main cable(connector bundle) to main fuse/relay box was separated. Connected and got the windows up and moved the truck.
