2008 Ranger SRS light

2008 Ranger, airbags popped, replaced both bags, pretensioners and derm module. SRS light is lit, would think that replacing the module would give it a clearing, but is the code stored in the PCM or BCM as well? Can it be cleared with a high end OBD2 scan tool?
The light is on as normal with key at accessory, start it and it goes out and then lites within 2 seconds steady. Any advise appreciated.

Take care
Shawn

Try disconnecting the battery for 5 min. if that does not work you might have to go to a shop or dealer with an SRS scanner and have them clear the code

If the scan tool has SRS capabilities.
