2009 Parasitic Drain

2009 Ford Ranger Base 2.3L - USA
No fuses on Driver side of steering column
Inner fuse box on lower Passenger side
300 mA parasitic drain on battery with everything off, doors closed, and 3 hr wait
Pulling the #33 (Instrument cluster battery feed (B+)) drops the parasitic drain to 78mA
On the fuse panel there is no #25 Relay or any other realays
Have a new fully charged battery in place

So now the question is whats next? I am not sure about a GEM or other unit or where they are located. The fuse panels and a few other areas of the truck do not really resemble any of the published wiring diagrams. Could this be a 2008 truck? Either way, what am I missing? What further steps can I take to locate the drain?

Have been chasing this drain for 3 weeks now and no luck. I thought it was in the SJB Smart Junction Box and replaced the junction box with no relief of the 290mA drain. When in the engine fuse box I did note that when pulling one of the fuses that supply the SJB the drain would drop to 70mA which is acceptable. I am now throwing in the towel and simply going to rig a switch on that fuse to cut off the juice when parking. I will first see if I can find a Tall 50A fuse with a switch and if not then make one...

Pulling this fuse drops the parasitic drain to 70mA

I have a parasitic drain in my DD and use a relay connected to the ignition to turn off the power to the 4x4 module. This way I don't have to remember to turn a switch on or off.

The coil is powered from a circuit on the ignition so it's only energized when the key is on. The circuit with the drain is routed through the contacts.

2009 Parasitic Drain - RESOLVED!

After a month of chasing wires and relays I came up with a reasonable solution to my parasitic drain. As posted by Ranger480 I just needed to isolate the SJB from power when the ignition is OFF. I have run a Jumper with 40amp fuse from the Ignition fuse to SJB Fuse. Now when the key is off I only draw about 70mA and that is reasonable. Before when the key was off I was drawing about 390mA.

The fused jumper goes from the (-) side of fuse #3 to the (+) side of fuse #9.
