2010 Ranger Replaced Seats and SRS issues
All;
I did a search here and can't seem to find my particular issue. I have owned my Ranger Sport 4x4 for about 4 years now and the previous owner was not kind to it.....Been slowly fixing things and the latest item to correct was replacing the trashed seats. I found a set of nice 60/40 seats from an early year (not sure what year) and replaced them. When taking out the 2010 seats, I noticed there were airbags (honestly never noticed before that doh...). I saw that the seat connectors on the '10 seats were different from the seats I got so started investigating. Found that '10 seats have the sensor pads in each seat that work with the SRS and then also connect into the seatbelt pretensioner. This pretensioner plug is the only one I have on the new seats.
I pulled the passenger control module off the '10 seat and installed into the new passenger seat but did not connect the seat sensor of airbag plugs in since there aren't any on the new seat. Seat belt warning etc. all work fine now but I have the SRS light on in the gauge cluster and the passenger airbag off light beside the radio on.
My issues and questions with my new setup are:

My issues and questions with my new setup are:
- Given I no longer have air bags and sensors in my seats, will the SR System work in the steering wheel? Pretty sure it won't now on the passenger side since it says it is off
- If the answer is no above, is there a way to setup the SRS to behave like earlier models and not require the seat sensors?
- If no to above again, can I just tear my old seats apart and transfer the sensor over to both new seats without the airbags in the upper bolsters? If I transfer the sensors without the actual airbags being plugged in, will the system still work
- If the answer to 1 above is YES, can I disable the two lights?
