2014/2.2/XLT, Parking lights stay on when doors are open

Just bought my Ranger and while working on it I noticed the parking lights stayed on all the time whilst my doors are open. Is this normal? Can I turned them off somehow? Checked my owners manual but didn't find anything on it.

Don't know what to tell you about the parking lights.

But if are really in Beverly Hills, CA you don't have a 2014 Ranger

If you figure out why it’s doing that let me know kinda cool.

I will add this and it’s almost as weird. I’ve owned my 02 Ranger XLT for 4 years. Whenever I shut my driver side door the left running light blinks. It doesn’t do this on the passenger side.

Haha, actually I live outside the US and the only zip code I could remember was 90210 from the 90s show.

Nope, from 2011 up those are T-6 Rangers, we never had them in the states.

They just started making them in the states for 2019

From 2012 - 2018 we had no Rangers

So what's the difference between the T6 and other rangers? I guess what I'm asking is what is a T6 designation.
