3.0 have enough go with 4x4

Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a Ranger and have found a FFV 4x4 with an auto trans. I was wondering if the 3.0 would have enough...***** to get 31's moving. If I did go with 31's I'd eventually regear but probley not right away. Any info is helpful.

Thanks

31's are no problem at all for the 3.Go Baby Go! Assuming its a 98+ that is. If so the stock tires are like 30.5" 's any ways. I ran 31x12.50 Procomp M/T's on my rig before i lifted it and the only mod i chose to do was to crant the t-bars to make it level.

Most *not all* came with 4.10's if it was a 4x4 OFF ROAD pkge. But even with 3.73's youll be ok...its not that big of a change from 30.5 to 31....
