2000 Ranger tail light question

Hello all,

My 2000 ranger's reverse lights recently stopped working, and I tracked the issue down to a ground in the tail light wiring harness. I replaced this with a part from eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/404246352121), and now the reverse lights light up again. However, this harness has three pigtails for the lights, instead of two like on the factory harness. Also, my turn signals no longer illuminate in the rear, and I hear the turn signal flasher relay clicking much faster.

Do any of y'all have an idea of where to proceed from here? is there any wiring "upstream" I could modify to use '99 tail lights with the three bulb design?

Thanks for any help

Rapid flashing means the lamp is burned out or not connected.
