I have a 1991 4.0 v6 ranger. It fails emissions with levels of CO and HC that are way too high. It was stalling when I would accelerate at low rpms. Changed the air filter, fuel filter, engine coolant sensor, and ran some injector cleaner through it. It runs a lot better now, but still is rough when I accelrate at low rpms, doesnt stall though. I wasn't getting a check engine light before, but now I get one after it gets warmed up. I get koeo 16, memory 41, koer 42. I'm only getting about 10mpg as well. Any ideas?

And now when I pull up at a light and start to idle it almost dies and the battery gauge jumps down then up again.
