when i run my truck in 4wd, and then i decide to put it back in 2wd the light will not go off...i have tried everything i can think to get it off, just won't go off... but the truck is in 2wd just the light is on... so if anybody has a suggestion on what i can do i would greatly appreciate it... thanks

 

Assuming that you have a manual transfer case, the switch that controls the 4WD and 4WD LOW lights screws into the front center of the case. Mine used to stick, especially in colder weather. I have a different transfer case now but it has the same style switch without problems. I would pull the switch and try to free it up or replace it.
